Introducing Cycle Crieff

Welcome to the Cycle Crieff blog! Cycle Crieff promotes cycling sustainability, and community engagement in the Crieff and Perthshire area.

At Cycle Crieff we pedal with purpose – promoting Crieff and Perthshire a a hub for cyclists nationwide, while we actively contribute to the local environment by repairing and refurbishing bikes, saving them from landfill.

Making a Difference Locally

Partnering with local charity Remake, we collect donated and scrapped bikes and reuse them and their parts. This helps us to get bikes ready for low/no income groups who then have access to transport.

Our collaboration with Remake has resulted in many bike sales, with high quality, refurbished bikes being supplied to Remake by Cycle Crieff. We have also supplied another local partner, Crieff Connexions, with our refurbished bikes.

Cycle Crieff Routes

At Cycle Crieff we are dedicated to nurturing a vibrant cycling culture, sharing our local routes to help establish and promote Crieff as a two wheeled hub where we support both local and visiting cyclists. We aim to encourage cycling as a social activity which enhances mental and physical well-being.

You can browse through all of Cycles Crieff’s routes here. Our routes can be sorted by type, distance or difficulty. GPX files are available to download for your chosen routes.

Bike Repair, Servicing and Maintenance at Cycle Crieff

We pride ourselves on offering top-notch bike maintenance and servicing, ensuring that your bike runs smoothly and safely.

As qualified aeronautical engineer, Lawrence has over 30 years cycle maintenance experience, so it was a natural step to set up a repair and support element for Cycle Crieff. We have Velotech technicians who are happy to support visiting and local cyclists.

We also run bike maintenance courses in the Crieff area. Keep an eye on our courses page to find out when the next courses are taking place.
